Leave Me Alone reminds me of a book I used to love called Five Minutes Peace in, which a mother elephant desperately seeks some time for herself.

Oh fun! I will have to see if I can find it at the library!! I just googled the title (by Jill Murphy! yes?) and it looks like a true gem!! Plus, put me in that tub STAT!

Yes, that’s the one. I don’t have little ones any more (mine are grown) but I still remember not being able to go to the bathroom by myself.

My diamond and rock were a package deal this week! The diamond was seeing my 4 and 1 year old really playing together for the first time. There were lots of giggles and back & forth play, Yay! While I was imagining all the fun these boys are going to have, the rock hit me in the face (not literally!) This lovely moment was quickly followed by said 4 year old screaming "DON"T TOUCH MY HOTWHEELS over and over in the 1 year old's face, resulting in big tears all round!
