Ok! If you are looking for a romance, can I recommend The Idea of You? It is not your traditional romance novel, and also VERY VERY spicy. There is a lot of sex. But it is a great book, and the movie adaptation comes out in May.
I am in awe of the amount of books you review and read in a month. As my dear old dad used to utter when amazed, “Say What?!?”. And my new saying that seems to come out of my mouth a lot these days, “Good on You!”. Enjoyed the reviews and am still reading my second book since around March 1st…..or maybe February 🤣
It is actually an Advance Reader’s Edition of a novel by Brooke Lea Foster called “All the Summers in Between”. I am really enjoying it. It is set in the summer of the 70’s with two estranged best friends that reconnect after an event in their past drove them apart. A good read so far! Halfway through…
I’m not letting myself read it til I’m done with David Copperfield. It’ll be my reward :)

Thanks for the recommendation!
Oooo fun! Reading the book before the movie comes out is always a good time— definitely going to check this one out
I have The Dictionary of lost Words! Promptly adding it to books to share with you!
Oh yay! Did you enjoy it?

I follow her Substack! You should too!! I entered to win that ARC I think. Maybe I can read it after you!
Absolutely! I’ll save it for you for this summer when you are visiting. A perfect summer read.
The Overstory is also collecting dust on my nightstand, along with David Copperfield (I’m trying to read the 700+ pgs before Demon Copperhead).
Happy reading!
I can’t wait to get my hands on demon copperhead
